Cantilever rack uses projecting arms to support lumber, pipe, and long bundles without front columns between each load position. For lumber suppliers, landscaping operations, and contractors, the first planning question is how each bundle is lifted. Record the full load length, weight, and handling method. Do not divide bundle weight by a guessed number of supports. Establish the support arrangement first, including any materials that bend or need closer support spacing. Cantilever warehouse racking keeps the storage design focused on material length and support needs. A storage arrangement that supports the material properly still needs enough approach space for placing and withdrawing it without awkward changes of direction. ## Cantilever Warehouse Racking Layouts Single-sided arrangements serve access from one side; double-sided arrangements place storage on both sides of a central upright line. Compare their full handling footprints, not just the steel footprint. Longer materials can need substantial turning and withdrawal room, especially when several load lengths share the same storage area. ## Cantilever Pallet Rack Versus Beam Rack The phrase cantilever pallet rack can obscure an important difference: long-material storage is not simply selective pallet rack with longer beams. Cantilever arms provide open-front support for suitable loads. Standard palletized merchandise may belong on selective rack instead. Identify which products are loose lengths, bundles, or conventional pallets before assigning storage zones. ## Santa Fe Cantilever Rack Planning Spring winds affect outdoor material staging near Airport Road, Siler Road, and Trades West. Identify whether the installation is indoors or outdoors when describing the application. Separate loose pieces from complete bundles in the inventory list. Include the route from receiving to storage so long-load handling is considered beyond the final rack position. ## New Rack Specification and Installation Send material lengths, bundle widths, load weights, required storage levels, building or yard dimensions, and handling-equipment details. We use that information for a free CAD layout and itemized quote. New material is supplied, with experienced installation crews we schedule and manage. The final proposal identifies the intended arrangement and confirms equipment timing for that specification. ## Plan the Rack and the Move Together Pallet Rack: https://santafepalletrack.com/products/pallet-rack Pushback Rack: https://santafepalletrack.com/products/pushback-rack Pallet Flow Rack: https://santafepalletrack.com/products/pallet-flow-rack Drive-In Rack: https://santafepalletrack.com/products/drive-in-rack Carton Flow Rack: https://santafepalletrack.com/products/carton-flow-rack Warehouse Relocation: https://santafepalletrack.com/warehouse-relocation Town Service Areas: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area ## Warehouse Racking Questions ### How much does pallet rack cost? ### How much weight can pallet rack hold? ### Do you install the rack? ## Warehouse Racking Across Northern New Mexico Albuquerque, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/albuquerque Rio Rancho, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/rio-rancho Bernalillo, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/bernalillo Espanola, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/espanola Los Alamos, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/los-alamos South Valley, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/south-valley La Cienega, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/la-cienega Rancho Viejo, NM →: https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area/rancho-viejo All 23 service areas (https://santafepalletrack.com/service-area) ## Send Your Pallet Sizes.
